Bio
Robert Primrose is a composer based in Bristol. Robert’s song writing achieved notability as part of 4 piece indie pop band Swimming Girls. Gaining consistent radio airplay including BBC Radio 1 Track of the Week, Elton John’s Rocket Hour and Radio X to name a few. Robert can add playing the John Peel Stage at Glastonbury and the O2 Shepherd's Bush Empire to his list of exciting live shows.
Springing successfully from the spotlight to focus on the creative process, in 2020 Primrose signed a publishing deal with BDi Music. Since signing, his production and song writing credits have featured on BBC Radio 1, ITV’s Love Island and many editorial playlists on streaming platforms including Spotify New Music Friday.
With more exciting collaborations in the works, Robert is no stranger to successful Sync placements. As an adept violinist and pianist, his compositions have featured in advertising campaigns with brands such as Honda, Sanctuary Spa, Demelza, DrinkIQ, Well Lab and specially composed music for film scores such as BFI funded short film ‘Swole’ and up and coming Bafta qualifying short 'Victory to the Mimers' starring Steve Furst (Little Britain, Friday Night Dinner), Lee Ingleby (Inspector George Gently, Line of Duty) and Toto Bruin (It's a Sin).
